Greetings:

I have been given a price of $14,900 for a BX2230 with turf tires, 54" mower deck with grass catcher w/2D3050 boot, snowthrower w/hydralic valve. A DelMorino (or Kubota) 39" rotary tiller is an additional $1565. How does this compare to your experience. The gentleman seems quite knowledgable and someone who believes in and stands behind his product.

Thanks for your input.

I thought about adding the FEL since it comes with the $700 add-on hydralic valve required if you buy a snow thrower. Other than moving bark mulch in the spring, I'm not sure what else I'd use it for. I'm sure if I thought hard enough I could find reasons. ....

You know your needs better than anyone. In terms of frequency of use I use my loader more than anything else. It's a real backsaver. I use it to move dirt/gravel around, dig out stumps, haul slash to burn piles, move heavy stuff around the property (bags of fertilizer, concrete, etc), push over small trees and heavy brush when brush cutting, move big rocks, haul buckets of freshly cut firewood to the pile, load debris into the bed of the truck, etc. It's also useful as a helper to work the tractor up and down when getting stuck. I even use it to hold my chainsaw, fuel, etc when driving to the far ends of the property to cut trees. ....

I believe I see a FEL in my future! The total price for the BX2230, snow blower, 54" MMM with bagger attachment, FEL and 39" tiller is $17,350. Is this reasonable? Dealer is only 9 miles from our house. ....

Find out what comes with that, free 50 hour service? extra can of spray paint, extra set of blades for deck, free pick up and delivery for warrantee work, extra set of filters and oils if the 50 hour service isn't free. I do like loaders so I would have that as one of my first requirements but I don't know how much yard you have from your profile. ....

Thanks for all of your input and suggestions. I've tried a couple of other dealers in my area who never bothered to return my calls so I look forward to placing my order on Monday.

Again, thank you. ....
